It is an early intercession, which forestalls disappointment in scholastics by estimating progress of such a kid as often as possible, and inciting mediations that are investigate based to educate and associate youngsters with such troubles. A few kids don't react to such mediations, and their concern is profound established in that the kids could have inability coming from the natural make-up (Vaughn, 2010). Dissimilar to the error model that is basic for the typical kids with capacity, this model will be a choice to Frank who needs advantageous instruction. The Book of Genesis vs. the Epic of Gilgamesh Free Essays

Two Different Books with Similar Stories The Book of Genesis and The Epic of Gilgamesh have many clear similitudes. One significant, recognizable comparability is that in the two stories, there are flood legends. There is the legend of Noah and the Ark in The Book of Genesis and the account of Utnapishtim in The Epic of Gilgamesh. We will compose a custom exposition test on The Book of Genesis versus the Epic of Gilgamesh or on the other hand any comparative theme just for you Request Now In the two stories, a more powerful needs to clear out mankind and chooses to spare one individual who is then relegated to construct an ark to hold himself, his family, and one of every creature. There are additionally numerous particulars about this flood the two stories share for all intents and purpose, not simply the premise of the story. For instance, the two stories recount a long tempest. In The Epic of Gilgamesh, it says: â€Å"Six days and seven evenings the breeze and storm† (Gilg. Tabl. XI, 127). In The Book of Genesis, it says: â€Å"rain fell upon the earth forty days and forty nights† (Gen. 7:12). In the two cases, the story is explicit about the quantity of days the tempest kept going. Noah and Utnapishtim make penances to their separate higher power†Noah to God and Utnapishtim to Enlil. In the narrative of Noah and the Ark, it says that he â€Å"†offered consumed contributions on the altar† (Gen. :20) which is a penance to God. In the narrative of Utnapishtim, it says that he â€Å"offered a sacrifice† (Gilg. Tabl. XI, 155) by pouring a drink to Ea, which is a type of profound penance. These accounts don't exist for diversion, they effectively teach individuals exercises about mankind and God or the divine beings. These flood legends inform us regarding two or three d iverse strict convictions of the antiquated individuals, one being that individuals are instinctually terrible. A higher force needed to clear out humankind in the two legends since people were fouling up. On the off chance that people were acceptable naturally, the higher forces would not have needed to obliterate them all. The accounts of these floods likewise show defects in the high powers. Normally the divine beings or God are viewed as great, however in this story we see that the higher forces do undoubtedly commit errors. They tragically created an earth populated by defective individuals. This is significant in light of the fact that it shows that not in any case God or divine beings can accomplish flawlessness, and people absolutely can't. Despite the fact that this despite everything improves the divine beings than people, nobody is great. These two stories are likewise fundamentally the same as in their perspectives on people versus creatures. In the two stories, the higher force doles out a man to fabricate this ark and lead another world with his creatures. This shows his position over the creatures. Since he and his family are expected to be the main people after the flood executes every other person, this makes the people the pioneers of the living creatures. The tales send a reasonable message that people are above creatures and people have control over all creatures. This discloses to us that creatures are not seen as equivalents and positively don't get a similar regard as people in either culture. This clarifies why individuals eat meat, have pets, homestead, or whatever else people do to control creatures and set up a higher control over them. Despite the fact that there are extremely significant likenesses between The Epic of Gilgamesh and The Book of Genesis, there are additionally numerous distinctions. One of the primary contrasts is the mentalities about sex. In The Epic of Gilgamesh, Gilgamesh lays down with the entirety of the ladies in the town that he runs the show. Likewise, after a fruitful excursion with Enkidu, they reward themselves by engaging in sexual relations with whores. Whores are likewise observed as magical and incredible. Significantly increasingly not the same as the other story is that the divine beings in The Epic of Gilgamesh lay down with individuals. Sex is significantly more typical and easygoing in this story. Likewise, on the grounds that it is given to the warriors as an award for a fruitful excursion, it makes sex right around a trophy. By and large, this story portrays sex as a profound, amazing, and pleasurable activity. This is altogether different from The Book of Genesis. In The Book of Genesis, sex isn't for delight. Individuals shouldn't have intercourse until marriage, and it is for the most part with the end goal of multiplication. This is totally different from The Epic of Gilgamesh in which Gilgamesh lays down with numerous ladies while unwed. The distinction in sexual perspectives in the accounts embodies how sex is seen contrastingly in various societies. Some may consider it to be a type of delight, while others see it as a methods for making kids. Another minor contrast between the narratives is the possibility of everlasting status. In the two stories, all people are brought into the world human. In spite of the fact that Gilgamesh is 1/3 god and 2/3 human, he is as yet mortal since he can be executed. In The Epic of Gilgamesh, Utnapishtim is given interminability by the divine beings before flooding out mankind. Notwithstanding, in The Book of Genesis, God doesn't give anybody the endowment of everlasting status. This shows how the Christian culture accepts that people are far less amazing than God and they can never be anyplace close as solid and shrewd as Him. In The Epic of Gilgamesh, people can be allowed extraordinary powers by the divine beings, and Gilgamesh himself is part god. This puts far less accentuation on the division among people and divine beings than The Book of Genesis. The conspicuous similitudes between The Epic of Gilgamesh and The Book of Genesis reveal to us that the individuals of the world originating from various societies despite everything have numerous shared convictions. The likenesses in the tales likewise show how significant these accounts are to individuals, since the convictions are across the board to such an extent that various varieties of the narratives have been composed. Obviously the individuals of the antiquated world accepted that the world was made by a higher force in various days, that a higher force made mankind, people are extremely defective, and numerous other shared convictions that can be found in The Epic of Gilgamesh and The Book of Genesis. The most effective method to refer to The Book of Genesis versus the Epic of Gilgamesh, Essay models

Our Own World Is Portrayed By William Wordsworth - 2023 Words

Our own world is viewed through our own experiences and shaped through human emotion. Humans can experience and see the world itself can appear to shapes the emotion as well. It is impossible to say which precedes which; does the external world that is clearly and vividly see, show the tangible object that mirrors the mood? It is poetry that has an inherent tendency towards pan-psychism; the feeling that soul and nature pervades all which is close. M.H. Abrams saw for the Romantics that same reverent apprehension of nature s grandeur: constituted a systematic theodicy of the landscape (Natural Supernaturalism, 98). The full grasp of this feeling is the idea of pantheism. This pantheistic tendency became explicit among the Romantics,†¦show more content†¦These dissenters questioned religion-saw religion with its human tainted touch and the inadequacies that focused more on the materialistic than spiritual-as what religion is supposed to achieve. William Wordsworth is one of t he Romantic Era writers that spoke of nature with zeal and reverence with a religious tone. By its very nature, poetic imagery links human thoughts and emotions intimately with the external world. The pathetic fallacy is used here by Wordsworth. It appears that nature is a blank page that takes on the paints of the human feeling. William Wordsworth takes nature as a soul invading figure so far transcendentally as to make it his religion pointing to the idea of a philosophical turn suggesting an atheistic and also a pantheistic world view. Wordsworth writes in his poem ‘Composed a few miles above Tintern Abbey†: â€Å"Nature never did betray The heart that loved her; ’tis her privilege, Through all the years of this our life, to lead From joy to joy: for she can so inform The mind that is within us, so impress With quietness and beauty, and so feed With lofty thoughts.† ’ (122-128) Wordsworth felt that â€Å"poetry is the spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings† (172) in his â€Å"Preface to Lyrical Ballads† stated that he felt an individual could explore and experience the intense emotion that poetry offers.. Wordsworth saw the grand lay of nature is evident from his early years. In Wordsworth’s

Muet Speaking - Question Answer free essay sample

I’m very happy that my brother has just received a scholarship to study in England. My relatives and I would like to give him a special gift. We all think that the best gift is money because it will be very useful for him. The first reason is with cash he can buy the things that he needs when he gets there. There will me a lot of things that he will need like new books, stationery, clothes and food. He will also need to pay for transportation like taking the bus or train to go to the university campus. As we know, it is very expensive in England so any money we give him will be very useful. Secondly, my brother can use the money to buy a mobile phone when he gets to England. I think this is very important in case of emergencies so we can contact him easily. Furthermore, he can sms us and keep us updated with his progress in his studies there. Hence, if we really miss him we can just give him a call. Finally, I also think giving him money is the best choice because it is light and doesn’t take up a lot of space. If we were to give him a computer, books or winter clothes it will be very heavy and bulky for him to bring to England. Therefore, I think that it is much easier to bring money and buy those things when he gets there. In conclusion, these are some of the reasons why I think giving him cash is the best choice. To me, it is the most useful gift we can give him. Thank you. Candidate B Task A: You suggest that they give him a computer. Say why. A very good morning I bid to one and all. My relatives and I are very proud of my brother. He has just received a scholarship to study in England and so we would like to give him a special gift. We believe that the best present for him is a laptop computer. Firstly, as a university student, my brother will have to do many assignments. If he has a laptop computer he can bring it everywhere and consequently, do his work anytime and anywhere. Thus, he will not have to share the computers at the computer room with other students and he will be able to do his work more quickly and efficiently. Another point is that when he boards the plane from KLIA to London, he will be able to bring the laptop with him easily because it is compact and light compared to a desktop computer. Hence, it will not be too much trouble to transport it to England. Last but not least, if he has a laptop he will be able to connect to the internet. This has two main advantages as firstly, he can do a lot of research online. The world wide web is a fountain of information so it will be very useful for him to make full use of this technology. Furthermore, he can keep in touch with friends and family here in Malaysia by e-mail. In short, a laptop computer will prove to be very useful to my brother. He can do his assignments, research for information and keep in touch with us using it therefore it will make the best gift. Thank you for listening. Candidate C Task A: You suggest that they give him some suitable clothing. Say why To the examiners and my fellow candidates, a wonderful morning I bid you. My brother was lucky enough to receive a scholarship to study overseas. We want to send him off with a nice gift so we have decided to buy him some suitable clothing. The main purpose for buying him some suitable clothing is because the weather in England is very different from the weather in our country. There are four seasons there so he will need to have different clothes for different situations. For example, we can buy him some sweaters, cardigans, scarves, snowcaps, thick socks and gloves and many more. These will definitely keep him warm in winter. The second reason is we think that he should have clothes that reflect our Malaysian identity. This is because he will be a young ambassador for our country so if he has a few sets of traditional clothing like the Baju Melayu or formal Batik shirts, I am sure he will not only look good but promote our culture overseas. Lastly, neat clothes make a good impression. For instance, if we buy him some everyday clothes like jeans and trousers with nice shirts and matching ties, this will give him a good feeling about himself so he will walk a bit straighter and talk a bit wiser. Moreover, people will look at him and have a good impression about Malaysian students. To conclude, I think that the best present to give him is some suitable clothing because it will be very useful and will reflect positively on him. Thank you very much. Candidate D Task A: You suggest that they give him some Malaysian foodstuff. Say why. I would like to wish everyone here a very good morning. As we all know, my brother has won a scholarship to study in England. Therefore, some relatives and I have decided to give him some Malaysian foodstuff as a going away present. First and foremost, one of the main problems Malaysians face when studying overseas is that it is hard to find Halal food. We feel it is a good idea to give him some Malaysian foodstuff because it will take time for him to get used to the place and find out where to buy Halal food. Thus, in the meantime he can enjoy the Malaysian foodstuff that we have given to him. The next reason is because some of the foodstuff we are used to having here in Malaysia is quite hard to find in UK. Most students studying overseas really enjoy eating Maggi Mee and sambal belacan. For instance, it is also hard to find the right spices for curry and rendang and so on so if we supply him with enough Malaysian foodstuff, he can eat it whenever he misses home. The final point I have is that he can use the Malaysian foodstuff we give him and cook it for the Westerners there.

Two Nations Black White, Separate, Hostile, Equal ( Andrew Hacker ) free essay sample

Critical review of work on Amer. society as individually, socially, historically institutionally racist. Andrew Hacker, in Two Nations: Black and White, Separate, Hostile, Unequal, paints a picture of a society dominated by the injustices of racism. The book is a far from hopeful portrait of the current racial situation in the United States. It is a work buttressed not only by great insight, but by pertinent and startling statistics revealing the direct and destructive effects of racism in the areas of household income, family arrangements, child-support payments, criminal victimization, educational attainment, and fertility expectations (233). In every instance, blacks are shown by Hacker to suffer greatly as a result of that racism. Neither does the book offer much optimism with respect to the future of relationships between the races nor with respect to the maltreatment of blacks by overt and covert means in the

Through this plan, President Barack Obama intends to make US self sufficient for fulfilling its energy needs. However, there is dire need to formulate and implement energy policies that would ensure environmental protection and safety. Although the plans of President Obama aim at strengthening the economy of US in the long run, yet they are a big source of threat to the ever worsening environmental conditions. Until 1970, US had been producing enough oil to suffice its own needs. However, ever since 1970, US’s oil needs grew manifolds, and hence, the oil had to be imported. Oil production in US faced a sharp downfall after the collapse of oil prices in 1986. In 2000, the production of oil declined by 24 per cent as compared to its production rate in 1985 (Churchill). In 2000, the proportion of oil produced in US out of the total world’s production was no more than 12 per cent. The Energy Information Administration (EIA) had recorded that till 1 January 2000, the number of oil reserves in US were 21 billion barrels (Churchill). Oil reserves have been decreasing in number in US ever since, and the current plan is likely to cause more harm to the environment than good to the society because the oil reserves will soon vanish any way, but the harms caused to the environment in the course of their exploration would sustain for a long period of time, perhaps till the end of the world. There has been considerable protest against this policy. President Barack Obama had been watchful of the possible emergence of protests against the plan by the environmental agencies. He said these words in a speech explaining his consent on the security of energy, But the bottom line is this: given our energy needs, in order to sustain economic growth, produce jobs, and keep our businesses competitive, we're going to need to harness traditional sources of fuel even as we ramp up production of new sources of renewable, homegrown energy. (Obama cited in Shannon). This plan made by Presient Barack Obama has conventionally received a lot of criticism. There is no doubt in the fact that upon its implementation, the plan would impose serious environmental threats in US. In his speech, President Barack Obama does approve of the idea of looking for new and renewable sources of energy, but intends to change the oil attainment strategy meanwhile. Considering the extensively damaged environment, there is dire need to immediately discover and implement alternative sources of energy. As research is being done to find new ways, US should abstain from drilling oil and continue importing oil because the ultimate solution lies not in the use of oil, but in the use of alternative sources of energy. â€Å"The only real way to quit relying on foreign oil is to wean ourselves from oil" altogether† (David cited in The Week). Global warming is already a leading issue of the contemporary age. We can not afford to

Research Critique Part 2 Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 750 words

Research Critique Part 2 - Essay Example The study is from the journal of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists published in 2006. While HPV-16 vaccine has been shown to significantly prevent persistent HPV infections, the ultimate objective of the study is to validate whether the vaccine is also effective to prevent cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) 2-3. In this study, risks and benefits especially on the use of placebo were identified and presented to participants. Voluntary participation was noted and participants were tested on HPV-16 infection before the onset of the study. Institutional approval was also obtained for a period of up to 48 months. Furthermore, informed consent was secured from the participating women and was readily available for revocation once the participant opts to withdraw from the study. In fact, 94 women were actually dropped from the list of participants due to consent withdrawal. Thus, although the study aimed at producing an acceptable evidence to promote the utilization of HPV-16 vaccine, human rights were still taken as of primary importance and the rights of the participants to withdraw from the study was exercised. The variables are explicitly stated in the research title and resemble the exposure variable and outcome variable. The independent variable includes the type of treatment applied, either the vaccine or the placebo depending on what the participant actually received. The incidence of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) 2-3 was compared among the two treatment groups and therefore served as the dependent variable of the study. The data collection method was scheduled on day 1, month 7, and then 6-monthly thereafter until the 48th month. Genital samples for HPV-16 DNA, Pap tests, and antibody titers were collected during each collection time. This method was specifically formulated because CIN 2-3 may need a certain period

Truth in Literature Essay Example for Free

Truth in Literature Essay The truth provides different functions to different people. Truth to some people is simply boring so they choose to alter it as much as possible. This is also known as lying. Others try to run away from it, they simply cannot deal with reality. Some even go to the extreme by living their while life as a lie, while trying to deceive others. The truth in literature, as I perceive it, is something that only the reader can decide as being fact or fiction. There is neither right nor wrong to the information you obtain. The option is in your hands, and you are the one who should decide eventually if what you read or hear is fact, fiction, valuable, important, or useful for your future. Marta Martin may have omitted certain emotions or occurrences in order to appear stronger and more heroic to a reader. Richard Rodriguez lied to himself throughout his life in order to make himself believe he was better than his past. Finally, W. D. Snodgrass lied to everyone around him and even to himself, while chasing female students, in order to maintain an appearance of an upstanding professor. The story of Marta Martin can be very strange to some, but others can see her as a hero. Marta Martin was a pregnant woman who found herself caught in a terrible storm in the middle of Alaska. She was forced to survive on her own and there was no one else to help her. Marta kept a diary where she described how she managed to survive. In her diary she described a day when she killed a sea otter with an ax, peeled his skin, and ate his liver and heart. When you read her story you try to imagine a woman doing all that, but it gets harder when you realize that most pregnant women find even the smallest chores difficult. I tried to imagine a woman, but all I could invision was a man. What is even more interesting is that there was no emotion mentioned in the diary. There were no complaints, or pain, and she never mentioned the fact that she might be scared staying at the house all alone with her baby due very soon. She wrote about events that required emotional strength and physical characteristics not common to a young pregnant woman. Marta never once mentioned fear or apprehension that I feel even a man might feel in those circumstances. Many who read her story would be astonished to think that she accomplished all that alone. Many others will consider her a liar. In the beginning of her story she mentioned the reason as to why she choose to tell her story I can hardly write, but I must. For two reasons: first I am afraid I may never live to tell my story, and second, I must do something to keep my sanity. (martin,301) I believe she wrote the story not because she wanted to keep her sanity. Clearly she had plenty of work to do before the baby came, but she chose to write her story so that no one will forget her, so that everyone who will read this story sees her as a hero. A woman who did what would be impossible for most women out there. I dont know Marta Martin, though somewhere in my heart I believe that the truth is quite different. The truth is, that as a woman, she must have been scared and lonely. Im sure that she had many nights she found herself crying and praying for help. The truth, as I see it , is that there is no woman in this world who can kill an animal , get trapped in snow storm, live all by herself pregnant, and not mention a word of fear . However, it is not up to me to tell the truth. I’m simply the person who read it, and chooses to accept it, or interpret it differently. Marta Martin wanted to remain a hero. She wanted everyone to remember her as a hero. And with all that she did, that woman is a hero with or without mentioning a word or two of fear. The truth might be far different than what she chose to portray in her diary, but the fact is that she did survive, she did kill the sea otter and peel his skin, and she did have her baby. Thats the truth. What happened in between is her choice to tell us, and it is our responsibility to accept it or not. Richard Rodriguez altered the truth in a different way than Marta Martin and for a different purpose. Rodriguez was boy who wanted to be different from his middle class immigrant family. As a child Richard read as many books as he could, he used to always be the one to answer teacher’s questions and soon became smarter then his siblings and even his parents. His family couldnt really understand why he was so fascinated in reading books all the time and his brothers and sisters used to make fun of him. Even the other pupils in the class did not like him since he was the smart one. Later on, when it came time to choose a college, he chose the one far from home, far from his family. By then, he was embarrassed by his family’s lack of education and attempted to isolate himself as much as possible. In college he did very well and when he used to come back home he had nothing to share with his family. He thought that they would not understand anyhow, so why even bother. In the end the author wrote the truth about the typical school boy, in the end Rodriguez came to face the painful truth. He realized that in attempting to run from the past, run from his family, he lost something so profound and important that no matter how hard he would attempt to restore it, he would not succeed. He became more nostalgic for what was never really there, and for the thoughts of what might have been. Rodriguez was attempting to escape his family, but in doing so he faced the truth that in his heart he actually desired to be closer to his family. His goal was to become educated and felt that educated people were more admired. What he learned was all memorized; he did not learn intuition, creativity, interpretation, or how to solve complex problems. â€Å"Faithfully I wrote down all that they said. I memorized it:† I heard it all. But there was no way for any of it to mean very much to me. † (Rodriguez,670) W. D. Snodgrass lied to everyone around him and even to himself and reflects on this in a poem called â€Å"April inventory†, where an old man give the reader a glance of his life as a teacher. Through that window we discover information that some will consider as inappropriate, or even disturbing. His reality is far from been normal to me, yet he consider it as been of his everyday life. Through his poem, he demonstrates how he becomes older. He loose his hair at some point and also his teeth. At the same time he describe the way he sees the girls he is teaching . to him they are always young and slender and pinker every year. He also, creates a big scandal in our society, which he hides from the authorities. I have not learned there is a lie Love shall be blonder, slimmer, younger: That my equivocating eye Loves only by my bodies hunger That I have forced true to feel Or that the lovely world is real Eventually when I read the poem more carefully I discover that the truth is far more disturbing that just the way he sees himself comparison to the girls he is teaching. I realized that by saying† †¦love should be blonder slimmer younger â€Å" he implies that his goal is to sleep with the girls in his class. His only goal was sexual and not educational in purpose, and teaching was the last thing on his ‘to do list’. Therefore, he was lying and deceiving everyone into believing he was a teacher who was concerned about the education his students receive. While the awful truth is that he cared more about his looks and that fact that he is getting old and not the education. The truth is that he cared more to the fact that he can not sleep with them anymore for he is too old now. The truth as I see it in this poem is that he knows the truth but he choose to live a fantasy. â€Å"I have not learned how often I can win, can love, but choose to die. † (Snodgrass, 7) . He as an adult, authority figure knows very well the consequence to his actions. He is well aware of what he has done; he can part from right and wrong, yet he chooses a life of a lie. I feel he was also lying to himself to ignore that he was growing old; he was trying to convince himself he was still young and attractive by sleeping with younger girls. From these stories, and many others, truth can mean different things to different people. Truth can be very hard to deal with and is part of personal growth, as we see in Rodriguez’s story. Truth may be simply boring or make a person appear less heroic as in Marta Martin’s story. In other cases the truth is extremely exaggerated to the point when the author is living his whole life as a lie, as seen in the poem â€Å"April Inventory†. Truth, to me, is essentially the most important virtue in our life. But I won’t judge those who choose to change it for literature. I won’t point a finger and call them liars, for I might embellish the truth sometimes too.

Internet Censorship Essay - Internet Needs a Dot Kids Domain :: Argumentative Persuasive Topics

Internet Needs a Dot Kids Domain The Dot Kids Implementation and Efficiency Act of 2002 proposes the creation of a second level domain within this Country's United States Top Level Domain that sets aside an address on the Internet and World Wide Web for information that is suitable for minor children of age 12 and younger. Various pro-family groups fully endorse and support this initiative. For example, those at the National Law Center for Children and Families can wholeheartedly say that such a domain is needed, would be a welcome solace to parents and educators who care about the best interests of our children and grandchildren, and is a constitutionally viable program for our Government to provide. There are those who will complain that Congress and our Government should not create domains at all, but Congress and the United States Government created the Internet and have a stake in its development and usefulness, including to children, who are our most dependent citizens. Whether management of a .kids.us sub-domain is beyond direct agency control or whether what is "suitable" is left to the discretion and best judgment of those entrusted with management of the United States domain and the Dot Kids subdomain are not serious problems. The Dot Kids domain would not be a public forum, but rather a proprietary and gratuitous public service of the Government. The courts should not consider it a justiciable issue for challengers to claim vagueness or access rights to this domain or its operation. A Dot Kids domain should be free from judicial review and immune from outside demands, much like the Library of Congress and the Smithsonian Institution have the right to manage their own collections and decide what content and links to place on their own Websites, as well as every other Federal agency. If the U.S. Park Service decides to create a playground for children under 13 and exclude older kids and adults, they should be able to do so, and if Congress will create an online safe-haven for kids under 13 to find suitable, age appropriate information and entertainment, it should be able to do so.

Fiscal Policy Paper Essay

The United States has been known as a powerhouse throughout the world and as having a good reputation with other countries. With the deficit, surplus and a high debt has caused the United States to lose some of its stature on an international level. The national debt has three parts concerning fiscal policies, prevailing economic conditions, public policy, and demographic changes. The United States has had annual deficits spending a lot more than the Department of Treasury has collected. This has occurred almost every year since the nation has been around. This is what has established the United States as a preeminent global power that it is right now. (â€Å"Financial Regulations†, 2012). If the deficit and debts continue in a downward spiral this will have an effect on the strength and status of the United States bargaining power. While the United States could faces inflation, on the international level it could cause the American dollar to depreciate and this would harm the United Stated international competitive power. If this happens the reputation of the United States would diminish on an international level as well. When the United State is importing goods, an Italian clothing company can reap the benefits. If Italy’s economy is strong enough when the United States runs a trade deficit, an Italian clothing company will continue to grow and produce jobs for the people in Italy. It is opposite if the United States runs a trade surplus, this can cause an Italian clothing company to shut down because the company will not be producing the goods that the United States need. When there is a debt in the United States and a demand for Italian clothing company to import their products, the United States must sell off assets at a lower value to cover the demand of the products. (According to â€Å"Research and Data† 2011). If the United States does not have any assets to sell they will have to borrow the product from the company and pay them back at a later time. This will make their debt larger because they will have to pay back the debt plus interest on the total price. Today the unemployme nt rate is a serious problem in parts of our country. People who are unemployed are not paying taxes. Unemployment is a huge part of the deficit. A large amount of people go from employed to unemployment at a fast rate. People are losing their jobs for many  reasons which push them to the unemployment line. Unemployment benefits are designed to help people until they can find employment. When jobs are lost, salaries stop, taxes are not being paid, and the government is paying out unemployment benefits to people who are not working. There has to be some kind of solutions to help curve the unemployment problems. Creating training programs for high demand positions should be offered to unemployed clients to get them back to work. Most students rely on Student loans, Pell grants and any assistance they can get from the government to help them further their education. In February, there was a threatened sequester and education funds were affected. Education was one of the areas that was in the line of fire and was talks of cuts ensued. This would hurt many students because it would decide if they would be able to continue attending school. It would also hurt the universities because some had already experienced cuts within the system. President Obama spoke about funding for education and how important it is to continue. To keep the Pell Grants safe, other areas were targeted. The Leap grants, subsidized loans, Trio program, and Perkins loan were all at risk. It all comes down to the economy. Money has to be moved ar ound and often causes problem for many. In the end students will see interest rates on loans rising and higher payment to repay after graduation. Taxpayers suffer from the debt and deficit because taxes are raised to offset the deficit and debt. If the debt is high concerns on how the debt is going to get paid grows. The debt is what owed by the federal government. Since the government continues to borrow funds from the Social Security Trust Fund, future Social Security is in jeopardy. It’s predicted that over the next 20 years the social security fund will not have enough to cover the benefits of the baby boomers that will be ready to retire. These benefits will have to be paid so taxes will have to be raised and other government programs will have to be cut. With the future predication of more social security recipients it leaves fewer workers to pay into the system. Future social security and Medicare users depend on the surplus to fund their benefits. For years Social security had a huge surplus because it collected more in taxes than what was paid out. Beginning in 2010 Social Security started paying out more in benefits causing a need for concern. Raising taxes is one way to increase the social security fund. It is highly unlikely that Social Security and  Medicare will be cut because both are funded by employees, employers and t hose self-employed (taxpayers), As long as people are working and paying taxes Medicare and Social Security will always have funding. It’s important to understand that a considerable part of the loss in U.S. manufacturing jobs has not just been a story of higher productivity leading to fewer jobs—as was the case with the transformation of the U.S. agricultural sector over the last century. It’s been more a story of decline in output due to a loss of international competitiveness. This is why the decline of U.S. manufacturing merits a serious policy response. Look at Detroit for example the decline of car industry and factory jobs have been in constant decline because of the way this country sends jobs to other countries for cheaper labor. So in essence why would a foreign country buy cars from the U.S. when they know what it cost to make them? And more than likely we are in debt to them which would in part make us sell cheaper than what we want just because of it. The debt affects the deficit in three ways. First, the debt actually gives a better indication of the true deficit each year. You can more accurately gauge the deficit by comparing each year’s debt to last year’s debt. That is because the budget deficit, as reported in each year’s budget, does not include the amount owed to the Social Security Fund. However, this is a debt that will need to be repaid one day, and so the amount borrowed from it is a more accurate description of each year’s government liabilities than the reported budget deficit. As one can imagine economic production and growth and what GDP represents, has a large impact on nearly everyone within that economy. For example, when the economy is healthy, you will typically see low unemployment and wage increases as businesses demand labor to meet the growing economy. A significant change in GDP, whether up or down, usually has a significant effect on the stock market. It’s not hard to understand why a bad economy usually means lower profits for companies, which in turn means lower stock prices. Investors really worry about negative GDP growth, which is one of the factors economists use to determine whether an economy is in a recession. ? Theories of Leadership and Communication Problems in a Company Free Essay Example, 2000 words

Managers and employees may differ in perception thus without communication. It may be difficult to bring the different parties into consensus. The target must be efficiently established to enable the right perception of an idea. The perceiver must have the right attitude, on ill motives, sufficient experience, realistic expectations and high interest in the idea at hand. Various situations influence perception; this is basically the context of the idea. This theory looks into the manner in which individuals interprets events, in relation to their thinking and behavior. The assumption here is that individuals try to determine why people act as they act. An individual can make to attributions. These may be either internal or external attributions. In internal attributions, the behavior is under the personal control of the person, while, in external, it is due to the outside causes. It has been argued, determining the attribution may help in determining and solving the problem of commu nication. Thus the organization ought to have determined it. For instance, the employees who were making various mistakes could have been doing it intentionally (Rajul 2006).
